Are you someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, a sense of humour and a passion for removing behaviour and pastoral barriers to learning?

Oasis Academy Long Cross is a very special and exciting place to be. We are a two-form entry school, with a large Early Years Foundation Stage and a 35 place specialist resource base. In addition, we have our health colleagues and a Children’s Centre onsite. Long Cross is a successful, caring, and ambitious academy where children and staff flourish. We have a highly skilled and passionate staff team who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of education and care for every child. We are fully committed to providing exceptional inclusive education at the heart of our community.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate experienced practitioner to join us as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for behaviour and pastoral support in September 2024.

• Someone with desire to provide effective and high quality behaviour and pastoral support to ensure every child is successful and reaches their full potential

• A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who will play a key role in our drive for continual improvement.

• Someone who shows a passion for closing the gap and reducing barriers for our disadvantaged children

• An individual who is committed to their own continuing professional development with an up-to-date knowledge of trauma informed practice and behaviour management strategies.

• Someone who is fully dedicated going above and beyond to fulfil our role in supporting community transformation

Oasis Academy Long Cross is forward-looking school, with inspirational children who are well-behaved and eager to learn. They demonstrate a real pride in our Academy.

We do encourage prospective applicants to book a visit to the academy with one of our leadership team to find out more about what life is like for the children and staff at the academy. Please contact the academy office to arrange a visit by emailing or telephoning the school office.
