Job Summary:

As the Attendance and Admissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our academy's attendance and admissions processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Student Attendance: Monitoring daily attendance, identifying patterns of absenteeism, and working with students, parents, and staff to promote excellent attendance.
  • Admissions Coordination: Handling all aspects of the admissions process, from initial inquiries to student enrolment, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and admissions data, utilizing our management information systems effectively.
  • Communication: Liaising with parents, students, staff, and external agencies regarding attendance and admissions matters.
  • Supportive Role: Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and contributing to the overall administration of the academy.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using management information systems and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting high standards of attendance and a positive school culture.
  • Work Term Time, plus one week - total of 40 weeks
