We are looking to appoint a 2nd Line Support Technician (Network) to join our team. Oasis have an ITIL Service Desk, with the 2nd Line Engineer dealing with escalations from the 1st Line Team and from our Academies. You will be working mainly with Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 and Azure.

About you The successful candidate will need to have a keen approach to customer service and the ability to identify incidents whilst setting key priorities. You will ensure the smooth running of ICT systems over several sites to facilitate Teaching, Learning, Administration and Leadership through effective network and hardware configuration and maintenance.

A confident communicator you will support colleagues and students, in person and remotely, in the appropriate use of ICT

This role demands strong knowledge of Windows 10 and basic Windows Server 2008 /12 administration. Experience of in an IT service in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Our Ideal candidate will:

· have a strong technical background 

· experience of working within ITIL processes and procedures 

· be an enthusiastic customer service provider 

· possess sound problem solving and analytical skills 

· be willing to work shift patterns and travel between sites

have good attention to detail for completing scheduled checks and updates
