Oasis Academy Daventry Road is a brand new 11-16 co-educational academy opening in south Bristol in September 2023. Starting with Year 7 only it will grow year on year to reach a capacity of 900 young people.

Oasis Academy Daventry Road will deliver high quality teaching in an environment where every child is valued and supported to succeed. We will work to develop the character and competence of all young people, in pursuit of everyone receiving an exceptional education and reaching their full potential both in learning and in life. 

The role of Year Team Pastoral Leader will be critical to the successful running of our academy. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can quickly develop strong and effective relationships with students, teachers and parents. You will be the first point of contact for students and their families within the year group, supporting good attendance, punctuality and learning behaviours. You will work holistically and preventatively to ensure that students are supported to achieve by providing 360 degrees of care, support and challenge. The successful applicant will have experience of supporting young people to overcome challenges and thrive in learning and life. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for making a difference to the lives of the young people and the community we serve, as well as developing their own career.
