Executive Assistant to North-East Primary Regional Director - Internal only

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to the Regional Director for North-East Primary Academies at Oasis Community Learning (OCL). OCL is one of the largest multi-academy trusts in the UK, which is part of the Oasis Global family.
In this senior administration role, you will join the OCL Secretariat and work closely with the Regional Director in order to enable them to carry out their role successfully. This will involve managing their diary and email inbox and highlighting all potential risks/key issues within the region to them and to other key stakeholders. Where possible you will resolve these issues or will escalate them.
You will be the first point of contact to the Regional Director for people from inside and outside the organisation and will draft communications and correspondence on their behalf . You will also prepare agendas, take minutes, capturing actions and ensuring these are followed up in a timely fashion.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours which flow from the Oasis Community Learning ethos.
- Have strong administration and diary management experience
- Be educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in this type of role
- Be self-motivated, with a ‘can do’ approach to problem-solving
- Be able to demonstrate initiative and work unsupervised
- Be a team player who is able to work collaboratively
- Have the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Show emotional intelligence and resilience
- Have an excellent standard of written and spoken English and be able to converse at ease with senior colleagues, business contacts and members of the public
- Be willing to undergo personal checks including enhanced DBS checks
