Our Academy is a fantastic place to study and work and there really is no better time to join our team! We are a forward thinking Ofsted ‘Good’ school and this is reflected in our Year 7 intake which has been oversubscribed for the past three years. We are incredibly proud of all that we have achieved and are looking for a great candidate to join us.

We have a clear vision at OAW: all students will have the opportunity to climb the stairway to University, or a real alternative, and lead a fulfilling and happy life. We are committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure that every child at our Academy achieves academic success. We firmly believe in a structured environment which is founded upon high expectations. We believe that all of our students, regardless of starting point, have the ability to fulfil their potential; and through great teaching and learning they will go on to become valuable and happy members of the community in which they live. Attendance is at the very heart of this.

We are seeking a dedicated person to join us as an Education Welfare Officer on a one-year fixed term basis, in the first instance. You will be joining a well-resourced Academy that has a relentless focus on raising achievement and driving attendance.
