37 hours per week, term time, 39 weeks per annum
One-year fixed term in the first instance

We are seeking a dedicated person to join us as an Education Welfare Officer on a one-year fixed term basis, in the first instance. You will be joining a well-resourced Academy that has a relentless focus on raising achievement and driving attendance.
The key responsibilities for this role:
- To support with the tracking, reporting and monitoring of attendance
- To work with students, parents and carers to secure regular attendance at the Academies and ensure they are aware of their legal responsibilities.
- To undertake day to day case work so as to improve levels of attendance.
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of children you come into contact with.
